We had an amazing time at On the Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant And Jungle Trekking Tours! the location was fantastic, giving us a peaceful and jungle-like experience. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay convenient and enjoyable. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, like a bucket and drying rack. the restaurant/lounge area was lovely, and the food was delicious. We especially loved the rengdan and mie goreng. the hotel also arranged a fantastic trek where we got to see not just orangutans, but also other apes. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Nothing, all was good! ☺️.

We were super stoked to see orangutans in their natural habitat - some of them were wild born and others were semi-wild. It was like living in a real-life Tarzan movie! The friendly guides took us on a wild trek through the jungle, and we even got to tube down the river - it was a serious adrenaline rush! The whole experience was just mind-blowing and definitely a once-in-a-lifetime thrill!
If I had to nitpick, the only thing missing for us young party-goers was a proper party scene. Don't get me wrong, the vibe at this place is chill and relaxing, perfect for getting in touch with nature.

We absolutely loved our stay at On the Rocks. the bungalows are in a fantastic location, nestled on a hill overlooking the village and the stunning jungle. We woke up to the beautiful sound of birds chirping every morning and even had an incredible close encounter with an orangutan right on our terrace. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering various tours and assisting with transport arrangements. We opted for an overnight jungle trek and it was an unforgettable experience. the facilities were simple but comfortable, and the garden was lovely. it was an amazing stay for both adults and children.
Felt right at home, nothing to complain about.

Had a great time at this hotel! Loved the stunning view and the true jungle feeling. The food and service were fantastic, and the staff took great care of us. The jungle trek was a highlight, with our knowledgeable guide showing us 16 orangutans and other monkeys. The water rafting on the way back was a fun bonus.
The lack of hot water in the showers was a downside for some guests. While the bungalows were charming and clean, they weren't luxurious.
